Yesterday was World Mental Health Day, a day designated by the World Health Organization with the overall objective of raising awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilizing efforts in support of mental health.
The outpouring of support across social media was overwhelming and incredible. We wanted to share a few of our favorite posts:
Of course we had to start with our own. We were very excited to partner with Yasaman Gheidi, the founder of the Inside Out Challenge, and BetterHelp, the world's largest online counseling platform, to show what depression looks like on the inside.
We really enjoyed Nev Schulman's video on how showing emotion is not a weakness.
Will Wheaton opened up about his struggles with generalized anxiety disorder.
ATTN had a terrific video about how absurd it is that people treat physical health differently from mental health.
Powerful words from the popular social app.
We really enjoyed The Mighty's mental health crisis kit.
We were so moved by YouTuber's Freya Haley open letter to herself.
